Artist Statement

I work in a variety of mediums depending on the subject and my current mood. I love the colours, shapes, patterns and textures in nature, which are frequently represented in my work. Weather permitting, I enjoy working in ‘plein air,’ usually with watercolour and ink, gouache or oil pastels.
